Hi! My name is Allison Slitt and I’m the secretary at AMWA. A little bit about me is I’m current sophomore majoring in Allied Health Sciences and dream to be an Emergency Care Physician treating patients in underserved areas. I am from a small town called North Stonington, CT. A fun fact about me is I lived in Germany for 3 years.

I love AMWA, because it is a supportive group of pre-medical female students that empower me through my pre-medical journey. This organization has helped me learn more about my next steps as pre-medical student than any other outside resource. Furthermore, it was AMWA where I found individuals to stand by my side through each academic hurdle I faced. I am on the E-Board, because I wanted to take on a higher level of involvement in the club and be a leader who can accomplish any goals/initiatives set by AMWA members.
